Maria - Agency Assistant Manager
I entered the caregiving field with a deep sense of compassion and a desire to make a difference in the lives of others. In 1999, I began my journey by taking a CNA course, gaining foundational skills in patient care. However, due to personal circumstances, including a death in the family, I had to step away from the field temporarily. Despite this, my passion for helping people remained strong.
Over the years, I found opportunities to work in hospitals and clinics, where I could continue offering support and assistance to those in need. My experiences have allowed me to serve as a liaison for individuals who speak English or Spanish, utilizing my bilingual skills to bridge communication gaps and ensure patients receive the care and attention they deserve.
I believe that caregiving is more than just a profession; it's a calling that requires patience, empathy, and the ability to connect with people from all walks of life. Whether through language or direct care, I am committed to making a positive impact on the lives of those I serve.
