I have been in health care for 13 years! I have an Associates Degree in Science with an emphasis in Criminal Justice and Counseling. In the meantime, between college and traveling back home I started working as a Certified Nurse Assistant for residents in a hospital setting. I worked with the geriatric dementia population for 6 years and really fell in love with the rewarding work of helping people who need you. I then moved on to a different population of clients and worked for psychiatric residents, where I would play a huge part in making their treatment plans and preparing them for rejoining the community. After working in a hospital setting for so long you begin to think about what takes place before they come to hospital and how they got there.

That’s why home care is so important. Could they have been at home longer? I was intrigued with home care at that point and decided to put my experience helping others to the test with Kore Cares! I’m very blessed to be on the administration staff and helping clients find their best match of a caregiver or nurse with a personalized care plan to help them stay in their home as long as possible.
