Cassie - Talent and Community Liaison

My healthcare journey began when I was in high school, gaining my CNA license and working in a long term care facility. I found my love for caring for others and gaining experience for nursing school. I graduated from Sioux Falls School District in 2018 and decided to start my journey to gain my nursing degree. I continued working for an assisted living facility, then gaining my Medication Aide license. Two and a half years into nursing school I decided to change my path, continuing to work in the healthcare world but no longer working bedside with patients. I began working for Sanford Health doing basic reception duties including, scheduling, insurance, and clinical paperwork. While looking for a position to continue to help patients, I came across the Talent and Community Liaison position with Kore Cares. I was excited to expand my horizons with a smaller home health company that focuses on employee culture and giving the best care possible to their clients. I am beyond grateful I am in the position to travel and spread the word about Kore Cares.
