Hannah - Lead Caregiver Mentor

My career in health care started as a CNA six years ago. I love being depended on to take care of those in need and make sure that I’m giving them the best care. I loved working in the nursing home. It was an amazing learning experience and truly taught me what it takes to be an excellent caregiver. When Covid 19 I realized I wanted to get to know my clients on more of a 1 on 1 basis which was a challenge being in a nursing home setting. It was an emotional decision, but I decided I needed a career change.

I then began working as a caregiver at Kore Cares. I have met the most amazing people and looked forward to going to work every day and giving it my all. You get to know the clients on such a personal level and those bonds truly stick to your heart. A year passed and I realized I wanted to advocate for my clients and teammates at a higher level and when the opportunity arose to work in the office, I pursued it. I now am a client support specialist/ mentor, I am on the front line when it comes to clients and caregiver’s advocacy. I love what I do, it gives me the best of both worlds being able to use my caregiving skills while advocating and making changes for the better. This position gives me the freedom to truly know I am making a difference.
