Heather - Support Specialist

I have been working in the health field since I was 14 years old. My first job was working in a nursing home making beds, filling ice waters, and helping in the dining room. I moved up to doing CNA work all through High School. I went on to work in an Assisted living home for 4 years. For the last 18 years I have been working with individuals with disabilities as a DSP (direct support professional) and I worked my way up to an SSD (service and support specialist) supervising the homes and staff. I knew I needed a change, and I came across Kore Cares on Indeed, I didn’t think twice about it I applied and here I am! I enjoy making a difference in people’s lives and knew this would be a job I would love doing. Making someone’s day better for them and knowing how you are helping them to live the best life they can.
