Kore Cares Participates in Kids Fore a Wish

Community outreach has become one of our favorite parts of Kore Cares’ expansion across Eastern SD in the past year. While our primary purpose is to provide care in the home to our clients to assist them in living their best life, as independently as possible, we also believe that being involved in the community takes that mission one step further.

This past weekend, Kore Cares was honored to sponsor our Business Finance Manager, Sarah and her niece in the Kids Fore A Wish golf tournament in Miller. The proceeds from the tournament benefit the Make-A-Wish foundation to aid in sponsoring wishes for local children. We enjoy being active members in our communities and love the opportunity to support a good cause!

The Kids Fore a Wish tournament started 5 years ago in Miller, SD, and has since raised over $100,000 for the Make a Wish Foundation. During the event participants can play a round of golf, enjoy sweet corn being sold by volunteers, and join in on the silent auction.
