Kore Cares Community Outreach: Yankton "Rock-A-Thon"

Our Yankton Agency Manager, Carly, will be busy celebrating St. Patrick’s Day this year with a cause! Yankton’s 10th annual Rock-A-Thon will be hosted at The Center in Yankton, South Dakota on Monday, March 18th from 10:00 am to 1:15 pm. This year the Rock-A-Thon is rocking for a goal of $50,000 for senior Meals on Wheels!

About Meals on Wheels

Meals on Wheels serves home-bound seniors in the Yankton area with nutritious home-cooked lunches delivered right to their door Monday through Thursday with frozen meals available for Fridays, holidays, and weekends. However, Meals on Wheels is more than just a meal delivery service for seniors, the program also offers seniors free wellness checks as needed.

Carly will be rocking from 10:00 am to 10:15 am collecting donations while competing against two other rockers from the community. There will be other rockers participating in 15-minute increments throughout the event. The Center will also be serving corned beef and cabbage during the event in true Irish spirit, drop by and say hi and support Carly during her rock for a cause!
