Serving Meals and Supporting the Community

Recently, our Aberdeen team had the privilege of participating in Bethlehem Lutheran Church's Wednesday Night Supper program. This initiative shows the spirit of community by providing a delicious, warm meal to anyone who walks through the doors. Meals are offered to everyone in the community, with no cost or requirement—simply a free-will offering for those who wish to contribute.

We sponsored one of these weekly meals and assisted with serving. Rachel our agency manager, Gabby our CEO, and four of our dedicated caregivers joined together to prepare and serve dinner to the many individuals and families who attended. It was an amazing opportunity to connect with the people in the Aberdeen community and be part of a program that brings the community together in such a meaningful way.

Additional meals were donated to local fire departments as a gesture of gratitude for their service and commitment to the community. Supporting our local first responders was the perfect way to spread even more kindness and nourishment in Aberdeen.

Bethlehem Lutheran Church's Wednesday Night Supper feeds hundreds of people each week, creating a welcoming space where anyone in the community can come for a meal. Open to all—regardless of background or church affiliation—the program shows their support to the community by ensuring everyone leaves with a full stomach and a sense of belonging.

We are so grateful for the opportunity to sponsor a meal and assist with this program. Witnessing firsthand how food can bring people together reminded us of the power of small acts of service in making a big difference.
