Kore Cares Care Champion: Jennifer

This year, Kore Cares wanted to honor two people who embody the ultimate caregiver. We asked coworkers, family members, etc. to nominate someone in their life who they think goes above and beyond for their clients/patients/residents every day. We received a variety of responses highlighting numerous deserving nominees. We are excited to continue this award for years to come and continue to shine a light on these caregivers who are making a difference in the lives of those they serve. We want to share a little about our 2020 Care Champions. First up is Jennifer.

Jennifer owns a home care agency that she started herself two years ago, Dakota Caring Companions. She was nominated by one of her employees who had nothing but great things to say about her work ethic. She schedules herself to work when needed and always puts her clients and employees first. An example her nominator provided was of a client’s recent 64th wedding anniversary. The anniversary fell during the Coronavirus times so they were unable to go out and celebrate. Jennifer got them all dressed up like they were going out and made them a candlelit dinner as well as decorated a cake for them. Actions like these are why we thought Jennifer would make a great Care Champion.
