2021 Kore Cares Care Champion Award

korecares-196.jpg

At Kore Cares, our mission is to empower individuals to use their God given gifts and talents to serve those in need. We believe as a management team that if we give caregivers the training, support and resources necessary to be successful, we will be able to recruit the best caregivers and our staff will take exceptional care of those we serve. It is also important to recognize and show appreciation for front line staff, especially now with COVID-19 making their job even more challenging.

When people think of health care they think of nurses and doctors but there is a whole team of front-line staff that provide the very much needed hands-on care. In 2020 we created an award called the Care Champion Award and selected two winners. Now, it’s time to find our two 2021 recipients. Submissions are due by October 15th. Winners will be announced October 27th. Read on for more details.

Who is this award for?

This award is for direct care providers (caregiver, certified nurse aide, medication aide, direct support professional, home care or home health aide) who have gone the extra mile for those they care for. In our experience, caretakers like this often do not go unnoticed as they are constantly complimented by their patients/clients, coworkers, and employers. We’re inviting these people to submit these exemplary direct care providers for our award!

2020 Winners

Our 2020 winners were two people who have spent years giving caregiving their all by going above and beyond to provide exemplary care.

Desiree is a caregiver at Kore Cares whose name was submitted by multiple people in her community. She has been with Kore Cares for over 3 years and has continuously worked hard to make a difference in the lives of her clients. One nominator said that Desi had “found her calling” and we are lucky to have her on our team! Click here to learn more about Desi!

Jennifer is someone we were able to meet through the Care Champion selection process. She runs her own home care business and we were amazed by the stories of her selfless acts for her clients over the years. Click here to learn more about Jennifer!
