Kore Cares Mitchell Agency Holds Open House for One Year Anniversary

Kore Cares celebrated their one-year anniversary in Mitchell with an open house and ribbon cutting on September 19th.

Avera@Home and Kore Cares, a South Dakota-owned home care agency, partnered last fall to expand personal care services across the state.

The two companies formed a joint venture, and Avera@Home transitioned patients in its personal care service line to the new company in phases throughout fall 2022. The location in Mitchell, S.D. began operations October 2nd; Shawna Kerr is the agency manager.

Personal care services, often referred to as home care, include a wide range of services including meal planning and preparation, assistance with personal cares such as bathing and dressing, housekeeping, errands , companionship, and nursing services. For a full list of services click here.

We are so grateful for the opportunity to serve Mitchell and surrounding communities. In the last year we have been able to care for some wonderful clients and build a team of amazing nurses and caregivers.

Kore Cares began operations in Mitchell, Yankton and Aberdeen in the fall and early winter of 2022. Home health and hospice patients remained with Avera@Home.
